About Us

This love affair with “interesting older autos” goes back to 1957 when my first purchase, a 1947 Pontiac woody wagon (for $25) wasn’t that old.  The Pontiac‘s subsequent sale, a couple of month’s later, for $65, steered me down a path, from which,  I guess, it’s too late to turn back now!  I currently maintain an inventory of 300 +/- “interesting older autos” at an old chicken farm here in Freeport, Maine.  They range in condition from junkand marginally restorable vehicles, up to road ready cruisers and fully restored examples.  No matter what the price, I strive to offer good value, for dollars spent.  I’m generally around seven days a week, unless I’m off picking up or delivering something; and from April to September, on some Saturdays, I’m likely to be away, racing one of my vintage stock cars, at assorted race tracks in Northern New England, with my good friends in the Wicked Good Vintage Racing Association. (check out their website for more info www.wickedgoodvintageracing.com. In any event, it’s always best to call ahead, before an unannounced visit.  My answering machine will relate my whereabouts, and when I’ll return.

I’ll look forward to talking with you.
